For Empire Electronics

Exceptional product quality must be approached from both a manufacturing and design perspective. To continue to achieve single-digit PPM ratings, we know that we must better control what we do and deliver to our customers. That’s why we are vertically integrated – designing and manufacturing components ourselves that we once outsourced. For Empire, design is a strategic advantage that allows us to move beyond commodity supply of wire harnesses and connectors. We believe that as we keep stretching, we enhance not only our competitiveness, but also our customers’ ability to compete. With this customer focus, we will emerge as a “must- have” suppler. Using CATIA, Unigraphics, AutoCAD and Solid Works, our team is focused on designing product performance and wringing out cost. At Empire, we’ve built a strong reputation for excellence in designing and molding small parts. Our customers know we deliver what we promise and are asking us more frequently for help with critical programs.

Design

Our engineering team offers design support that coordinates between your staff and our production facility. We have the capabilities to produce a viable quality alternative to our competitors’ products. An alternative that will meet all your desired specifications as well as any customizations required in the component. Our team of designers will develop a production process that will achieve high quality results, while keeping your costs low at the same time.

OEM Validation

Empire Electronics focuses on providing its customers with the highest-quality electrical and electronics products available in the industry.

We achieved ISO/TS 16949:2002 certification in January 2004 in near-record time. At certification, our auditors noted that our main strengths are our continual improvement programs and rapid implementation.

The driving force behind our rapid ISO/TS certification is our C2 Improvement process, which provides continuous improvement in our product quality, manufacturing processes and workforce management. C2 Improvement produces superior, cost-effective processes that make us competition-beaters and our customers’ “Go-To” supplier.

In the last three years, we’ve used Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), poka yoke error proofing, control plans and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) to launch more than 150 new part numbers while achieving a 100-percent process sign-off (PSO) rate, achieved the first time, every time with each new part and customer.

At Empire, we know that by aggressively and continuously improving our products to be the finest quality available, we not only keep our customers satisfied, we also “secure the future” for all of our employees.
